I solemnly swear that I am up to no good!
This is my sixth blog and I am truly enjoying the experience of sharing pieces of my life on this platform as I am free to share them however I see fit and I also could also remember these stories to myself which also makes me feel good.
I have already shared the feelings I have about books in these blogs. Today, however, I would like to focus my attention on a particular book that followed my young life and I still find myself thinking, plotting about future stories related with this book or just thinking different endings that the story could have.
Previously I shared feelings about the first love of my life so following that logic, I named this blog "My Second Love" and I will try to thoroughly express the feelings I felt and feel about this part of my life.
If memory still serves me right, I must have been around 12 when I read this book for the first time, my sister got it as a gift for one of our birthdays (either mine or my brother's since I remember it was warm at that time of the year), I am trully happy with the incredible choice she made.
I got hooked with the book so quickly it was fascinating, the story, the characters, everything written seemed perfect. Of course I am talking about "Harry Potter" series and the first book from the series that I read was "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets". I didn't choose to start from the second book, it was by accident, however, looking back it was probably the right one to start with as I always found its story far more compelling that the first one (which I also love).
Love might not be the right word to describe the feelings inside me when I went to the store to get my first book of the series. I would call it passion or even something bigger (lost for words...).
To me it seemed like the story had actually happened and someone is just telling it as it happened. I thought it might be real. The characters gave the book so much life it still amazes me, the plot full of twists and well designed mind boggling events that always kept me at the edge of my seat. The story of the book I would dare say is as old as the human race, the bad guy ("The Snake, Voldemort" I will try to describe the story of the snake/bad guy/evil on another blog) versus the good guy (the prince on the white horse, the heroe, Harry..again I will try to deal with the good vs evil on a seperate blog).
A bad guy who is so terryfing, people don't dare to even speak of his name and a good guy who is very approachable and compassionate.

You probably have read something that made you feel so good you had to go back and read it again and again just to try and fully grasp the emotions it brings to you. I certanly did so with many books but with the Harry Potter series it was different, I did it so many times I would remember lines from the books. The wait from one book to the other was the most painful thing I had to endure back at those days (of course that's not entirely true, however, that's how I felt back then) and the joy of having the new book in my hand was out of this world.
I don't want to go into details analyzing the books or the characters as I don't want this blog to turn into something I didn't intend to when I started it.
Just a final thought, I wholeheartedly belive that no human should get old without reading Harry Potter so if you haven't read it, hurry up and do so! If you're a parrent push your kid to read it, I guarantee that both you and them are going to love it.
Mischief managed!
